Stage 1 and it feels very weird! - We are still trying to get our heads round what we have started - and Amsterdam is a difficult place to get your head round anything ;-) - It's incredibly cold here - I'm wearing a t-shirt, then a shirt, then a sweat top, then a jacket! - our ears and noses are freezing. We are running from cafe to restaurant to keep warm. The accomodation is more central than you'd think possible. Basic but do-able.
So Cold you have no idea
We visited a "coffe shop" last night, then wandered through the red light district, which was nice.
This morning, we again inexorably found ourselves back in the red light district thus affording me a view of some humumgous knockers in a window (huge "big-momma" attached). Excellent way to start the day. She had breasts the size of communications satellites, with a suitably undersized bra. Magic stuff.
After catching the unmistakable odour of green-growing, we popped into a pot growing "exhibition/museum" - Funny as hell. 5 plants growing. Even I think I could manage better than that! ;-)
I love the "infinity" picture in the background
Couldn't find any plants for my father's garden, no matter how hard I searched
Now relaxing and free-jacking a wifi net at our accomodation bar (it's a bar-cafe mainly with rooms above).
Both very excited about hitting Thailand, although preparing to be respectful of the mourning Thai (their princess died yesterday from what I've read). We both agree that we'll hit full "smug-mode" when we hit a beach in an air-con beach bungalow. Culture is one thing, G&T on a beach is another.... ;-)
Bangkok next... hope business class lives up to the expectations!
